Four stages of meditation

Four stages of meditation, observing the body, observing the mind / thoughts, observing the heart, fourth where there is no observer or observed which happens by itself without our efforts.
A seeker should prepare his own food in sattvic way with no or less tamrind, salt, spices. Can not depend on others to give good food.

Alexander the great, out of respect and curiosity went to meet Diogenes, a well known philosopher. Diogenes was lying in the beach basking in the sun with his companion, a dog. Alexander asked Diogenes if there is any favour he can do for him, for he being the emperor of the world he said anything can be asked. Diogenes calmly said, "Yes, Can you please move little bit? You are blocking the sun".
